We encourage all Year 1 children to practise phonics at home. This can be done through the daily phonics sessions streamed live on YouTube. Your children should be watching the set 2 and set 3 sound lessons.
Videos stay on the YouTube channel for 24 hours before the new ones are uploaded.
Each day your KS1 team will upload any daily activities to j2e - an online learning platform that lets you create and save.
You can find them in 'j2Homework'. Don't forget to mark your learning activity as complete so that your class teacher can award you stars!
Each morning at 9am, Joe Wickes will be presenting a special workout for everyone at home. You don't need any equipment, just use the link below to open the video on his YouTube channel.
If you have a SmartTV then you can use the YouTube app on there so the whole family can take part!
Each day David Walliams will be releasing an audio version of one of his stories. This is something that the whole family can enjoy!
Once you've listened to the story, why don't you write a review or you can have a go at write your own version. This could be done in your Home Learning book or on j2e.
Use the link below to access the latest one.
Each day the KS1 team will upload various tasks and messages to the website j2e.com. Your child will have their login details for this website in their home learning book.
New tasks will be ready every morning. We expect the literacy, maths and foundation subject task to be completed each day. Please ensure you mark it as complete when it is done as this is how we can keep track of which children are completing work daily and award stars. You can also upload work to be reviewed via an online document or as a photograph if it is hand written.
Have a great week!
